Pop, pop, pop
By Zoe O'Reilly Katherine **** wants to help people rid themselves of stress. She thought the Internet was the perfect medium for accomplishing this goal. Katherine is the creator of Virtual Bubblewrap, the online site where you can pop virtual plastic wrap bubbles to your heart's content. It comes complete with popping noises. "I felt that this was a way to bring bubble wrap to a larger audience," she said. "Besides, I have a small child and wouldn't have the time to go out or the money to hire someone else to (introduce people to bubble wrap). "Aside from the sheer thrill, this is an excellent stress reducer, available at the click of a button!" She created the .au file from actual bubble wrap and spent 30 minutes editing it to get the right sound.
